Hi you. So I’m excited to start a new series on the blog called Dinner Tonight. I’ve been asked this question quite a lot in recent times “Uneku, do you have any good dinner suggestions?” , and it got me thinking that I might as well just share these ideas on the blog where all can have access to them and I rest my mouth muscles a bit;)
So basically, all I’ll be doing is giving you different meal combo ideas that I have served in my home for dinner. I’ll try to put up dinner ideas with dishes or recipes that are already in the blog but in some cases they’ll be brand new. So I hope this makes your meal planning much easier. Now on to our fresher recipe to kickstart this series.
SMOKED TURKEY served with a side of LEMON BUTTER RICE & CUCUMBER APPLE SALAD.
Main Course/Entree: Smoked Turkey
- This is quite easy, just buy your smoked turkey from the African store and bake it in your oven for about 20-30 mins until it is tender to eat. You could also boil it as well. Most smoked turkey does not require any additional seasoning and is ready to eat once cooked.
Side Dish: Lemon Butter Rice
Salad: Cucumber Apple Salad
