Egg-Dill Sandwich

This egg sandwich is really easy to make and tastes much better than your fast food egg sandwich because of the extra ingredients that complement it.Enjoy making it.

NGREDIENTS

  • 8 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 4 hard boiled eggs (outer shells removed)
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 4 slices of a small tomato
  • 4 slices of a cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill
  • Salt, to taste
  • White or black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chopped onions/spring onions, optional

PREPARATION

  1. In a small bowl combine the hard-boiled eggs,mayonnaise, and chopped dill; Mash with potato masher or spoon IMG_0959 IMG_0960
  2. Add the salt and the taste and stir in properly IMG_0961
  3. Place one bread slice on a plate; using a spoon or knife, spread a generous amount of the egg-mayonnaise on the slice IMG_0963
  4. Place a slice of tomato and cucumber on the egg spread; cover with a second bread slice IMG_0964
  5. Repeat step 4 for the remaining bread slices
